Our story
Meet the family behind the wheel.
Baglamukhi Travels is run, hands-on, by our family — Kangra locals, driver-owners Kapil Dev and Sahil, who have known these hill roads for years. There’s no call-centre and no commission agents: every booking comes straight to us.
We are a taxi service, first and last. A school run in Kangra, a 4 a.m. Amb Andaura pickup, a wedding party spread over four days, a fortnight across Spiti — it is the same hands and the same care, and the fare is quoted upfront. What we tell you on WhatsApp is what you pay.
Pickup and drop, anytime, anywhere — that is the whole offer. If a road goes there, we will drive you.
About our name
We are named after Maa Baglamukhi. We are not Her temple’s taxi service.
Baglamukhi Travels is an independent taxi and travel company, named after our family deity. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Baglamukhi temple or its trust.
Maa Baglamukhi is our family’s kuldevi, and we named the business after Her the way families here have always named things. It is a blessing on the work, not a claim about who we work for. We do drive the Devi Darshan yatra, and we are glad to — but we are a Himachal taxi service, and most of our days are airport runs, hospital trips, station pickups, weddings and outstation drives that have nothing to do with any temple.
