We run taxis to and from McLeodganj daily — about 22 km and fifty minutes up from our Kangra base. Airport and station transfers, Triund and Bhagsu drops, Dharamkot and Naddi runs, and outstation cabs to Delhi, Chandigarh and Manali. The upper town is narrow and often parked solid, so we tell you honestly where the car can actually reach you.

McLeodganj is our most-asked-for drop and our most awkward one. The square is narrow, the parking is a running battle, and half the guesthouses sit up lanes no car has ever entered. We would rather say that plainly than promise a door drop we cannot make — so when you send us the address, we will tell you exactly where the car will stop and how far the walk is.

Most of the work here is people leaving: a 4 a.m. run to Gaggal for the morning Delhi flight, a drop at Amb Andaura for the Vande Bharat, or the long drive down to Chandigarh or Delhi. We do a lot of these, and starting from Kangra means we can be outside your guesthouse before dawn without you paying for a car to come up from the plains.

For the day trips — Bhagsu waterfall, Dharamkot, Naddi viewpoint, the Triund trailhead at Galu — we can wait for you and bring you back, so you are not gambling on finding a taxi at the top in the evening.
