The classic Himachal week
Day 1 — Day 7
This is the week we would build for a first visit, and no single package page sells it — it is here so you can see the shape before choosing. Two or three days does one region properly; a week does two; anything past that is the high Himalaya.
Day 1
In by Gaggal airport, Pathankot, or the Vande Bharat to Amb Andaura. Kangra Fort and Brajeshwari in the afternoon if there is light left.
Night: Kangra
Day 2
Up early for Tsuglagkhang, then Bhagsu, Naddi and the Dhauladhar from the stadium. The short-drive day.
~22 km · ~50 minNight: McLeodganj
Day 3
Chamunda on the Baner, Palampur’s estates, Andretta’s potters and the Baijnath Shiv temple — gentle roads and no climbing.
~55 km · ~1.5 hrsNight: Palampur or Bir
Day 4
West to Nurpur, then the Chowari Jot climb into Chamba district. The first properly long drive of the week.
~120 km · ~3.5–4 hrsNight: Dalhousie
Day 5
The meadow through Kalatop forest, then Chamba town for the Lakshmi Narayan temples and the Bhuri Singh museum.
~50 km round · ~3 hrsNight: Dalhousie
Day 6
Down over Chowari and into the valley, taking Jwala Ji and Chintpurni on the way if the yatra interests you.
Night: Kangra
Day 7
Out by whichever railhead or airport you came in through — we time the run backwards from your train or flight.
Do one region properly rather than three badly. Dharamshala–McLeodganj, or Dalhousie–Khajjiar, or Palampur–Bir. Each has its own page and its own written itinerary.
Add Shimla and Kullu–Manali on the end, or go the other way entirely into Spiti and Kinnaur — those need seven days on their own and are seasonal.
March–June for clear views, October–November for the crispest air and thinner crowds, December–February for snow up high. July–September is the least reliable in Himachal — that is when we send people to Rajasthan instead, and we say so.
Want it shifted — a different start, an extra night, a stop added or dropped? Say so on WhatsApp and we’ll send the reworked plan and one all-in fare.
WhatsApp Kapil WhatsApp SahilBefore you book
One all-in fare covers the car, driver, fuel, tolls, parking and state-border permits for the whole trip. Hotels, your meals and entry tickets stay your own choice, so you keep control of the budget. We confirm the exact fare on WhatsApp before you travel — no advance, nothing added later.
It depends on the days, the car and the route — a 3–4 day Dharamshala or Dalhousie trip costs very differently from a week-long Spiti or Kashmir circuit — so we quote a real all-in figure rather than a sticker price. Tell us your dates and group and we send the number, usually within the hour — and if you hold a cheaper written quote for the same trip, send it and we beat it.
Ask us to confirm the price before you book anywhere, then compare it. If you hold a written quote for the same route, the same class of car and the same inclusions, WhatsApp us the screenshot and we beat it — and on the rare trip where we genuinely cannot, we will say so straight rather than waste your day. Booking is direct with the owner-drivers, so no agent commission is built into our fare.
Yes — every package here is a starting point, not a fixed template. Tell us how many days and people, your budget and what you most want to see, and we rebuild the route, the stays and the right car around it. If your route is not listed at all, we plan it from scratch.
For a first visit, Dharamshala & McLeodganj with Dalhousie & Khajjiar (4–5 days) or Shimla with Kullu & Manali (5–6 days) covers the classic Himachal at a comfortable pace. Families with elders often add a Devi Darshan; younger groups add Bir Billing paragliding or the Parvati valley.
Yes — beyond Himachal we run private car-and-driver road trips to Uttarakhand (Char Dham, Nainital, Haridwar–Rishikesh), the Golden Triangle and Rajasthan, Amritsar and Chandigarh, and Vaishno Devi & Kashmir, all starting from Kangra with the same driver throughout.
For peak season (May–June and holiday weekends) or the high-Himalaya Spiti and Kinnaur circuits, a few days’ to a week’s notice helps us hold the right car and driver. Shorter Kangra-valley and Dharamshala trips can often be arranged same-day or next-day, 24×7.
Our price promise
We don’t publish a rate card, because an honest fare depends on your dates, your group and the road. What we do promise: ask us before you book anywhere, and if you’re already holding a written quote for the same car, the same route and the same all-in inclusions, send us the screenshot. We’ll beat it — and on the rare trip where we honestly can’t, we’ll tell you straight instead of wasting your day.
WhatsApp your dates, your group and where you want to go. You get one all-in fare — car, driver, fuel, tolls, parking and permits — usually within the hour.
Check it against any operator or app you like. Compare like for like: the same car, the same days, everything included — not a headline figure with extras added on later.
Send us the lower written quote and we’ll beat it. You book the owner-drivers direct, so there is no agent commission sitting inside our number to begin with.
Ready when you are
Now booking August — just the two of us driving. Tell us your dates.
Lowest rate you’ll find for the same trip — or we beat it. Send us any written quote.
