Flying out

DHM is small and the check-in queue is short, but the runway is weather-sensitive. Winter fog and monsoon cloud do cancel flights — if yours goes, we can turn the same car around for Pathankot or Amb Andaura.

Landing here

Most arrivals carry straight on to Dharamshala or McLeodganj, which is another 30–40 minutes uphill. We quote the airport run and the onward leg as one fare.

The alternative railheads

Pathankot is ~2.5 hrs away and Amb Andaura, the Vande Bharat station, ~2 hrs. Both are more reliable than DHM in bad weather.
