No. Baglamukhi Travels is an independent taxi and travel company, named after our family deity. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Baglamukhi temple or its trust.

Maa Baglamukhi is our family’s kuldevi. We named the business after Her the way families in Himachal have always named things — as a blessing on the work. It says nothing about who we work for, and the temple has no connection to the company.

Not at all, and this is the thing we most want to correct. We are a taxi service for the whole of Himachal and north India. Most of our days are airport and railway transfers, local runs around Kangra and Dharamshala, hospital trips to Tanda, weddings, corporate travel and outstation drives. We are glad to drive the Devi Darshan yatra too — it is simply one of the things we do.

Yes, completely. The two numbers on this site are the drivers themselves, and both are owners. The person who quotes your fare is the person who turns up to drive you — no middlemen, no commission agents, no handover to a stranger halfway.

No advance is needed. We lock the fare with you on WhatsApp first, and you only confirm once the plan suits you. You pay by cash or UPI at the end of the trip, or as agreed for longer multi-day tours.

For airport pickups, local runs and short Kangra trips, same-day or next-day is usually fine — we run 24×7. For multi-day tours, Devi Darshan in Navratri, or peak season (May–June and holiday weekends), a few days’ notice helps us hold the right car and driver for you.

Yes. Because there is no advance, plans can flex — just message us as early as you can so we can free or re-arrange the car. We keep it fair: what we quote is what you pay, and we do not add cancellation charges for an honest change of plan.

One quoted price covers the car, driver, fuel, tolls, parking and state-border permits. Hotels, your meals and temple entry tickets stay your own choice, so you pick what fits your budget. Nothing is added later.

We do not publish a rate card, and that is deliberate. An honest fare moves with your dates, your group, the car and the road — so any headline figure would have to grow later, which is exactly how this market loses people. Instead: send your trip on WhatsApp and you get one all-in fare, usually within the hour — car, driver, fuel, tolls, parking and permits, with nothing added at the end. No advance, and you pay after the trip. And if you already hold a written quote for the same car, route and inclusions, send it across and we beat it.

The figures shown are indicative starting fares, to give you a fair idea. Your exact all-in fare depends on the car, the days and the route, and we confirm it on WhatsApp before you travel — what we quote is what you pay, with no hidden charges.

It depends on the days, the car and the route — a 3–4 day Dharamshala or Dalhousie trip costs very differently from a week-long Spiti or Kashmir circuit. We build every tour around your group and budget and quote one all-in fare (car, driver, fuel, tolls and permits) on WhatsApp. Hotels and meals stay your own choice.

Send it to us and we will try. If you hold a written quote for the same car, the same route and the same all-in inclusions, WhatsApp us the screenshot — we will do our best to beat it, and if we genuinely cannot we will say so straight rather than waste your time. Because you book directly with the owner-drivers, there is no agent commission sitting inside our fare to begin with.

Our main cab is the Toyota Innova Crysta — 7 seats, comfortable for elders and easy with luggage. The Maruti Ertiga also seats 7 — a smooth, economical MPV for small families. A sedan (Etios / Swift Dzire) suits up to 4, and a Force Traveller (12+1 and 17+1 seater) takes bigger groups. All are AC, on commercial tourist-taxi permits. We pick the right one for your group.

Yes — the Force Traveller (12+1 and 17+1 seater), often called a tempo traveller, is our large-group vehicle for family tours, pilgrimage groups and office trips. Tell us your group size and we bring the right seater.

Yes. Every vehicle is air-conditioned and runs on a valid commercial tourist-taxi permit, so you are covered for inter-state travel to Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttarakhand and Jammu & Kashmir. Our verified plates are HP 01 DA 5392 (Innova Crysta) and HP 01 DA 1601 (Ertiga).

The Innova Crysta and Force Traveller carry luggage comfortably for family trips; tell us how many bags and we plan the right car. If you need a child seat or extra help for elders, mention it when you book and we arrange it.

The 6 Devi Darshan covers Naina Devi, Chintpurni, Jwala Ji, Baglamukhi, Brajeshwari (the Kangra Devi) and Chamunda Devi. The five Kangra-valley temples fit one long day; the full six with Naina Devi is usually two. We start pre-dawn to beat the queues, time the halts to the aarti, and arrange palki where elders need it.

Yes — we run door-to-door Devi Darshan pickups from Chandigarh, Delhi, Pathankot, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Amb Andaura railway station, with a route page for each city. The same car and driver stay with you from your doorstep to the last darshan and back.

Yes. Many pilgrims add Mata Vaishno Devi (Katra), Baijnath, or a Kangra Fort and Masroor heritage stop to the Devi Darshan. Tell us what you want to include and we reorder the route so nothing backtracks and the elders are comfortable.

The circuit runs all year. Navratri (spring and autumn) is the most devotional but the most crowded, so we start pre-dawn. Outside Navratri any season works, and winter darshan is calm and uncrowded down in the Kangra valley.

Yes — one-way drops and round trips in both directions, with the same driver throughout. Common runs are Kangra or Dharamshala to Chandigarh, Delhi, Amritsar, Manali, Shimla and Katra. We quote the run itself rather than a per-kilometre rate, since one-way and return trips cost differently, and the all-in figure is confirmed on WhatsApp before you travel.

These are hill roads with tight bends, weekend jams and weather that changes fast. A local owner-driver who knows every halt, shortcut and where the traffic builds saves you real time and worry, and lets your whole group actually enjoy the views. We have driven these routes since 2018.

A weekend (2–3 days) suits Dharamshala, Dalhousie or a Devi Darshan; 4–6 days lets you pair Kullu–Manali or add Shimla; a week or more opens up Spiti, Kinnaur or a Himachal-plus-Kashmir circuit. Tell us your dates and we shape an unhurried route to fit.

The nearest airport is Gaggal — Kangra Airport (code DHM), often called Dharamshala airport, about 15 km from Dharamshala and 10 km from Kangra. For fast trains, the Vande Bharat railhead at Amb Andaura (~75 km) or Pathankot Junction (~85–90 km). We run tracked pickups from all of them.

Yes, we run 24×7. We track your flight or train and the driver waits even if you land or arrive late — a delayed arrival means no extra charge. Pre-dawn temple and airport starts are routine for us.

Yes — Tanda is one of our two regular pickup points, about 10 km from Kangra, with 24×7 runs for patients and attendants. Please note we are a taxi service, not an ambulance — for medical emergencies dial 108.

Yes — only the two of us drive: owner-drivers Kapil Dev, on these temple and mountain roads since 2018, and Sahil. We are Kangra locals on valid commercial permits — we know every route, halt and shortcut, and we drive calm. The number you book on is the driver who turns up.
