No. Baglamukhi Travels is an independent taxi and travel company, named after our family deity. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Baglamukhi temple or its trust.

Maa Baglamukhi is our family’s kuldevi, and we named the business after Her, as many families in Himachal do. The temple has no connection to the company.

No. We are a taxi service for all of Himachal and north India. Most of our work is airport and railway transfers, local runs around Kangra and Dharamshala, hospital trips to Tanda, weddings, office travel and outstation drives. The Devi Darshan yatra is one of the things we do, not the only one.

Yes. Tell us where you are and where you need to be, whether that is a station, an airport, a wedding, an office or another state, and we will quote it. If a road goes there, we can drive you.

Yes. The two numbers on this site belong to the drivers, and both of them own the business. The person who gives you the fare is the person who turns up to drive you, and nobody else takes over halfway.

For airport pickups, local runs and short trips around Kangra, same day or next day is usually fine, since we run 24×7. For multi-day tours, Devi Darshan in Navratri, or peak season (May–June and holiday weekends), give us a few days so we can keep the right car free for you.

Yes. Message us as early as you can, so we can free the car or re-arrange the trip around your new plan.

The fare covers the car, driver, fuel, tolls, parking and state-border permits. Hotels, meals and temple entry tickets are up to you, so you can choose what fits your budget.

We do not publish a rate card, because the fare changes with your dates, your group, the car and the road. Send your trip on WhatsApp and we reply with one fare, usually within the hour, for the car, driver, fuel, tolls, parking and permits. If you already have a written quote for the same car, route and inclusions, send it and we will beat it.

Because the fare depends on your dates, your group, the car and the road, and a price list would not match most real trips. Send us the trip and we will quote it, usually within the hour.

It depends on the days, the car and the route. A 3–4 day Dharamshala or Dalhousie trip costs far less than a week in Spiti or Kashmir. We plan each tour around your group and budget and quote one fare on WhatsApp for the car, driver, fuel, tolls and permits. Hotels and meals are up to you.

Yes. If you have a written quote from another operator for the same car, route and inclusions, WhatsApp us a screenshot and we will beat it. You book with the owner-drivers directly, so there is no agent’s commission in our fare to start with.

Our main cab is the Toyota Innova Crysta, 7+1, comfortable for elders and good with luggage. The Maruti Ertiga is 6+1 and suits small families. A sedan (Etios or Swift Dzire) is 4+1, and the Force Traveller (12+1 and 17+1) takes bigger groups. All have AC and commercial tourist-taxi permits. Tell us your group and we will pick one.

Yes. The Force Traveller (12+1 and 17+1 seats), which most people call a tempo traveller, is what we use for big family tours, pilgrim groups and office trips. Tell us how many of you there are and we will bring the right size.

Yes. Every car has AC and a valid commercial tourist-taxi permit, so we can cross into Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttarakhand and Jammu & Kashmir. Our plates are HP 01 DA 5392 (Innova Crysta) and HP 01 DA 1601 (Ertiga).

The Innova Crysta and Force Traveller have plenty of room for family luggage. Tell us how many bags you have and we will pick the car. If you need a child seat or help for elders, mention it when you book.

The 6 Devi Darshan covers Naina Devi, Chintpurni, Jwala Ji, Baglamukhi, Brajeshwari (the Kangra Devi) and Chamunda Devi. The five temples in the Kangra valley fit in one long day. Adding Naina Devi usually makes it two. We start before dawn to miss the queues, plan stops around aarti, and arrange a palki where elders need one.

Yes. We pick up from your door in Chandigarh, Delhi, Pathankot, Amritsar, Ludhiana (which also covers Jalandhar and the Doaba) and Amb Andaura railway station. Each has its own route page. The same car and driver stay with you from your door to the last darshan and back.

Yes. Many pilgrims add Mata Vaishno Devi (Katra), Baijnath, or a stop at Kangra Fort and Masroor. Tell us what you want to include and we will plan the route so you don’t double back and the elders are comfortable.

Any time of year. Navratri (spring and autumn) is the most crowded, so we start before dawn. Outside Navratri any season works, and winter is quiet in the Kangra valley.

Yes. From Kangra we run taxis and private tours all over Himachal: Dharamshala, McLeodganj, Palampur, Dalhousie, Khajjiar, Chamba, Bir Billing, Manali, Kullu, Shimla, Tirthan and Spiti. We also go to Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Jammu & Kashmir.

The ones people book most are Dharamshala & McLeodganj, Dalhousie & Khajjiar, Shimla & Kufri, Kullu & Manali, Bir Billing for paragliding, and Spiti. For pilgrims, the 6 Devi Darshan and Mata Vaishno Devi. We change any package to fit your days, group and budget.

Yes, one-way drops and round trips in both directions, with the same driver all the way. Common runs are Kangra or Dharamshala to Chandigarh, Delhi, Amritsar, Manali, Shimla and Katra. We quote the whole run rather than a per-kilometre rate, because one-way and return trips cost differently, and we confirm the fare on WhatsApp before you travel.

These are hill roads with tight bends, weekend jams and weather that changes fast. A local driver knows the halts, the shortcuts and where the traffic builds, and everyone in your group gets to look out of the window. We have driven these roads since 2018.

A weekend (2–3 days) is enough for Dharamshala, Dalhousie or a Devi Darshan. With 4–6 days you can add Kullu–Manali or Shimla. A week or more gives you time for Spiti, Kinnaur or Himachal and Kashmir together. Tell us your dates and we will plan a route that isn’t rushed.

The nearest airport is Gaggal, the Kangra Airport (code DHM), which many people call Dharamshala airport. It is about 15 km from Dharamshala and 10 km from Kangra. For trains, use the Vande Bharat stop at Amb Andaura (~75 km) or Pathankot Junction (~85–90 km). We pick up from all of them.

Yes, we run 24×7. We track your flight or train, and the driver waits if it is late. Pre-dawn temple and airport starts are normal for us.

Yes. Tanda is one of our two regular pickup points, about 10 km from Kangra, and we run there at any hour for patients and their families. We are a taxi, not an ambulance. For a medical emergency, dial 108.

Yes. Only the two of us drive: Kapil Dev, who has driven these temple and mountain roads since 2018, and Sahil. We are both from Kangra, both on commercial permits, and we drive carefully. The person you book with is the person who turns up.

Yes. We drive families, older pilgrims and women travelling alone every week. We stop often, arrange a palki where the climb is hard, and don’t rush. You ride with one of the two owners the whole way, and you can share your live location with family.

Yes. Baglamukhi Travels is an HP Tourism authorised, family-run operator, on the road since 2018 and based near the New Bus Stand in Kangra. Our cars have commercial tourist-taxi permits and we are rated 5.0 on Google, where you can check our address, both numbers and the reviews.
