Brajeshwari Devi
The Kangra Devi temple in the old town, one of the six. Before eight it is quiet and you walk straight in; by ten on a weekend you will not.

Kangra Fort
The Katoch fort above the confluence of the Banganga and Manjhi. Allow an hour and a half — it is a proper climb around the ramparts, not a viewpoint.
- Midday
Masroor rock temples
Forty minutes out, and the thing people miss. Fifteen temples carved out of a single sandstone ridge in the eighth century, usually with nobody else there.

The eternal flames, an hour south. If the fort has worn the group out, this is the easy option — the temple is at road level.

Two Kangra stations
Kangra Mandir is the narrow-gauge toy-train halt in town; Nurpur Road and Amb Andaura are the broad-gauge railheads. They serve completely different trains — check the ticket.
Fort parking
The car park is below the fort and the approach is on foot up a ramp. It is manageable for most people but not for a wheelchair.
Tanda
The medical college is ten minutes from town and we run to it around the clock. Give us the department, not just "Tanda" — the campus is large.
