A full day, or a half
The car is yours for the day rather than for a fixed list of stops. If the group wants to sit somewhere for two hours instead of ticking off a viewpoint, that is a better day and it costs the same.

Ages, walking ability, whether anyone travels badly. It changes the route far more than what you want to see does.

Start before the crowd
On every route around Dharamshala the difference between eight and eleven in the morning is enormous. We would rather start early and finish early.

The uphill things first
McLeodganj, Bhagsu, Naddi — the places that fill up and where parking runs out. Kangra Fort too, while it is still cool enough to walk the ramparts.

A real lunch stop
Not a rushed one. The driver knows which places are clean and where the toilets are, which matters more on a family day than the menu does.

Can we plan the sightseeing at our own pace?
Yes. We suggest a route and the best stops, but the day is yours — you decide where to linger and where to skip, and we keep the halts comfortable for everyone in the group.
Is sightseeing charged by the day or the kilometre?
Local day trips are a flat day rate that covers the car, driver, fuel, tolls and parking. We confirm the exact all-in figure on WhatsApp before you set out.
Can you combine sightseeing with a temple darshan?
Easily. Many guests pair a Chamunda or Brajeshwari darshan with McLeodganj or Kangra Fort on the same day — tell us your plan and we will route it well.
