From Amritsar the valley comes first and Naina Devi last, because the road in from Punjab reaches Kangra well before it reaches Bilaspur.

Three days is better

Day two as written is a lot of driving. Adding a night near Una or Bilaspur turns it into an easy trip and costs less than most people expect.

Five instead of six

If Naina Devi is the problem, the five Kangra-valley temples make a clean two-day yatra from Amritsar with no long day in it at all.

The Golden Temple end

Many pilgrims pair this with a darshan at Harmandir Sahib the night before setting off. It is open all night, which makes that easy.
