Most of the traffic is Bir and Billing — pilots and passengers flying out after a paragliding week, usually with a lot of kit. A booked car with proper luggage room beats the bus-and-change alternative comfortably.

Flying out after a flight

Most people on this run have just been paragliding at Billing. The airport is small and the check-in short, so two hours of road plus an hour at DHM is usually plenty.

If DHM cancels

It happens in fog and monsoon. Pathankot is ~3 hrs from Baijnath and Amb Andaura ~3.5 — we can turn the same car around.
