Jawali is an hour from Kangra through Ranital, on the low warm side of the district near the Pong Dam backwaters.

People book ahead here because of supply: there is very little waiting locally, so turning up hoping for a car rarely works. Give us the evening before and it is a non-issue.

From Kangra most of these trips carry straight on: Gaggal for a flight, Tanda for the hospital, or up the hill to Dharamshala. We quote the whole thing as one fare rather than making you rebook at Kangra.
