How we drive it
Nurpur and Kangra are the two ends of the same district and the road between them is one we know as well as any — an hour and a half through Jassur and Shahpur with the Dhauladhar on your left most of the way.
The work is the everyday kind: Tanda hospital appointments, functions and weddings, court and office trips, and people connecting through Kangra to Gaggal airport or on up to Dharamshala.
The other direction matters too. Pathankot is only forty minutes from Nurpur, so a Kangra family with a train to catch will often book us straight through to the station rather than changing at Nurpur.

Straight down the valley floor with the Dhauladhar on your left the whole way. One of the easiest drives we do.

Gaggal comes before Kangra town on this road. If you are flying, we stop there — no point driving past it and back.
Tanda runs
This is a common hospital route from the Nurpur side. Give us the department and the time and we plan around the appointment.
Onward up
Dharamshala is 40 minutes past Kangra and McLeodganj an hour. Same car, same fare structure, just say so at booking.
