About the trip
Three cities, one classic circuit.
The Golden Triangle links Delhi, Agra and Jaipur in a neat loop that shows a first-time visitor the sweep of Mughal and Rajput India in under a week. Each corner has its own character — the capital's layered history, Agra's marble monuments, Jaipur's pink forts and bazaars.
We drive the whole triangle from Kangra so one car and one driver stay with you throughout — down to Delhi, across to Agra for the Taj, on to Jaipur for the forts, and home. It pairs neatly with a longer Rajasthan extension if you have the days.
How it runs from here: the triangle itself is easy driving on good highways — it is the run down from Kangra that adds the days. If you are flying into Delhi we simply start there and hand you back at the airport, which saves two days each way. The Taj closes on Fridays and is at its best at sunrise; Amber Fort is at its worst at midday. We build the whole week backwards from those two facts.

What is the Golden Triangle tour?
It is the classic circuit linking Delhi, Agra and Jaipur — three cities roughly a triangle apart that together cover the Mughal and Rajput highlights: the capital's forts and tombs, the Taj Mahal, and Jaipur's Amber Fort and Pink City. Driven from Kangra it takes about 6 to 7 days including the road each way.
How is this different from the Rajasthan tour?
The Golden Triangle is the short introduction — Delhi, Agra and just Jaipur. The Rajasthan tour goes deeper into the desert state — Pushkar, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer beyond Jaipur — and runs 11 to 13 days. Many travellers do the triangle first, or start with it and extend into Rajasthan on the same trip.
Can you pick us up in Delhi instead of driving from Kangra?
Yes. If you are flying into Delhi we can begin the triangle there and drop you back at the airport, or drive you on to Kangra afterwards. The itinerary and pace stay the same; we simply start from your arrival point.
When is the best time for the Golden Triangle?
October to March, when the plains are cool and clear — ideal for the Taj at sunrise and long days of sightseeing. Summer (May–June) is very hot and the monsoon humid, so we keep timings early and flexible if you travel then.
