Gaggal is Kangra’s airport town, about 10 km and twenty minutes from our base. We meet every flight at Kangra Airport (DHM) with a tracked pickup and drive you anywhere in the valley — Dharamshala, McLeodganj, Palampur, Tanda or Kangra — from ₹2,500 all-in for a sedan into Kangra, with the exact fare confirmed on WhatsApp.

Gaggal is where the valley’s airport is, and for most visitors it is the first ground they stand on. The terminal is small and the taxi supply outside it thins out fast once a flight has landed, which is why a pre-booked car is worth the two minutes it takes to arrange.

We track the flight. If it is late — and in winter fog and monsoon cloud it often is — the driver waits, and there is no extra charge for a delay that was not yours. If it is diverted to Amritsar or Chandigarh, tell us and we will work out the drive from there rather than leaving you stranded.

Gaggal is also an ordinary town with its own bazaar and its own residents, and we do the everyday work here too: runs into Kangra and Dharamshala, Tanda hospital trips, and the long outstation drives.
